What is the Process of getting a website?
Getting Started
We will send you an on-line questionnaire to find out more about what you are needing. Then we’ll follow up with a phone call, in some cases we can meet in your office or we can Skype to make sure we are clear on what you’re vision is for your site. Most often working together over the PHONE will be preferred.
Dropbox
If you have more than 10-15 images for your website or if they’re too big to send through email, we can use Dropbox. We will set up a folder for the project and will share the folder with you via email. You can upload all images and files there.
Design Process
A large and time consuming part of designing a website is in the planning and layout stage of the process. we’ll create a sitemap (Page/Menu hierarchy) of the website for approval first, then we’ll design the home page for approval.
Development
Once the site layout and design is approved, we’ll move forward with designing the complete site and add all functionality, content, graphics and plugins. We will make sure your site looks great and functions nicely across all devices and web browsers before moving to the final step.
Edits and Revisions
Once the site is ready for final review, you’ll be able to review each page and we can make detailed edits until the site is exactly what you want. We ask that you please review ALL pages to make sure all spelling, grammar, addresses and information are correct before going live.
Going Live
This is the exciting part, when all your friends and clients can see your new site.
Training
We’ll teach you how to use your site. You will be able to update content and images and add new pages or write a blog. You will also get access to videos that will step you through making changes so if you forget after our training you can refer back.

How long will the whole process take?
Once we start working on your site it usually takes 4-6 weeks to build. This varies depending on how complex your site is and if you have everything ready to go (content being provided by clients is often the biggest hold up on sites being finished in time).
What will we IBCI - Internet Business Consulting, Inc. need YOU THE CLIENT to provide us?
You will need to provide all the written content for the site, as well as images, such as logos and photos.
